2024 Honda Accord Interior Updates

With the 2024 models due to come out soon, we expect the 2024 Honda Accord to continue to deliver excellence, similar to previous models. Below, we highlight what you can expect from the 2024 Honda Accord and how you can get yours.

The New 2024 Honda Accord Interior

Honda released a fully redesigned Honda Accord in 2023. For this reason, we don’t expect any major changes to the vehicle for the 2024 model year. For example, the interior of the 2024 Honda Accord will likely look similar to that of other Honda vehicles, with features such as a tiered dashboard and a modern-looking instrument cluster. The interior of the 2023 Accord also featured a honeycomb trim piece that hid the air vents, which we expect Honda to include again for the 2024 model.

Another prominent component of the interior is the touch-screen infotainment system. The 2024 model will likely use the same screen as the 2023 model and place it in the same location. You’ll find it on top of the dashboard but close to the edge, making it easier to interact with when driving. The media console will also only have one physical control knob — the audio dial — lending to a sleeker design.

Some other features we expect to come standard with the 2024 Honda Accord, as they did with the 2023 model, include Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integrations, Bluetooth connectivity and several USB ports for device charging. There should also be optional upgrades available, such as a larger touch-screen system, a head-up display, and a wireless charging pad.

Lastly, since the shape of the 2024 Honda Accord will stay the same, it should also have the same amount of cargo space. The 2023 Accord had 16.7 cubic feet of cargo space in the trunk, so the 2024 model should match this. This is likely enough space for the average owner and should fit at least several suitcases.

Performance Specs

As with the 2023 model, we expect the 2024 Honda Accord to have two available powertrains. The base option will be a turbocharged 1.5L four-cylinder engine that produces 192 horsepower and 192 lb-ft of torque. While this should provide you with plenty of power, if you want more, you can opt for the hybrid version of the 2024 Honda Accord. With this model, you’ll get a 2.0L four-cylinder engine along with two electric motors. All combined, this powertrain delivers 204 horsepower and 237 lb-ft of torque.

The hybrid version of the 2024 Honda Accord should also provide you with much better fuel efficiency. The EPA rated the 2023 Honda Accord at 29 mpg in the city and 37 mpg on the highway, which is very good for a gas-powered engine. However, for even better efficiency, consider the hybrid version, which was rated at 51 mpg in the city and 48 mpg on the highway for 2023.

Safety Features

We expect the 2024 Honda Accord to come packed with many of the latest safety innovations, much as the 2023 model did. The 2023 Honda Accord included the following standard features:

• Lane departure warning.
• Lane-keep assist.
• Blind-spot monitoring.
• Traffic jam assist.
• Automated emergency braking.
• Traffic sign recognition.

You’ll also get adaptive cruise control, which adjusts your vehicle’s speed based on the surrounding vehicles. This is the perfect feature for when you’re cruising down long stretches of highway or stuck in traffic, as the vehicle will do a little bit more of the work for you. Optional features will also likely include a rear cross-traffic alert and a low-speed braking control. Honda vehicles are well known for their safety, and the 2024 Honda Accord should be no exception.

2024 Honda Accord Trims

In 2023, the Honda Accord came in one of several different trim levels, making it easier to customize your vehicle. This should remain the same for 2024, with Honda likely offering the same exact trims. These trims are as follows:

• 2024 Honda Accord LX.
• 2024 Honda Accord EX.
• 2024 Honda Accord Sport Hybrid.
• 2024 Honda Accord EX-L Hybrid.
• 2024 Honda Accord Sport-L Hybrid.
• 2024 Honda Accord Touring Hybrid.

And, while we don’t yet know the final prices of the 2024 Honda Accord and its different trim levels, you can rest easy knowing that it will likely remain one of the more affordable sedan options on the market, despite its extensive list of standard features.
