2023 Honda Hybrid Lineup
Honda is creating and releasing hybrids of some of its most popular models in North America, and production ended in June 2022. A hybrid model will give you the same Honda experience as the regular models but with a little extra fun. There’s a Honda hybrid available for everyone this year, whether you’re looking for a vehicle to accomplish daily tasks or drive on the next family road trip to explore Ohio.
2023 Honda Hybrid Lineup

While Honda is coming out with a few new vehicles in the lineup, one might better suit your needs and desires than the other. To help you learn more about the upcoming releases from Honda’s 2023 Hybrid lineup, our team at Performance Honda compiled a list for you to compare the models with each other. After reviewing the list, if you still aren’t sure what the best option is for you, ask our staff for their expert opinions.
2023 CR-V Hybrid
The 2023 Honda CR-V Hybrid is an upcoming SUV with a fun Sport mode, letting you feel the car’s throttle engage for maximum acceleration. The SUV’s engine is great for improving the vehicle’s power and fuel efficiency because you can save on gas by switching to the electric motor. It can also improve the hybrid’s power when compared to the gasoline-only model, which will only have a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine with 190hp.
In contrast, the hybrid engine will have a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with two electric motors for an output of 204 hp, allowing you to accelerate quickly and use the electric motor in low mode easily. In the standard model, you can enjoy the front-wheel drive with the option of adding on all-wheel drive. The fuel economy may be about 40 mpg, with 43 mpg in the city and 36 mpg on the highway. However, if you add on the all-wheel drive, the fuel economy can decrease to about 37 mpg.
The car’s exterior look is likely to be similar to its gas-powered model but with a redesign in some areas. On the 2023 CR-V Hybrid’s front exterior has angular lights complementing the square grille with a sizable central front air intake. Then, on the rear side of the vehicle, you may find the taillights are sharp, beginning at the rear’s base spoiler that follows all the way to the back windshield.
The upcoming model also features dual exhaust outlets, sturdy roof rails, and rugged body panels on the exterior. Climb inside the vehicle, and there are many similarities to the Honda Civic. The dashboard’s trim trails along the entire width to camouflage the air vents. Over in the center console, there’re substantial buttons and dials to control the screen attached to the dashboard. Compared to the previous model, this version may have more space inside due to the large wheelbase and body.
Some other features include:
- Traffic jam assist.
- Pedestrian detection.
- Traffic sign recognition.
- Forward collision warning.
- Automatic emergency braking.
Starting MSRP: $33,695
CR-V Hybrid Sport Level
The CR-V Hybrid Sport offers a sportier element to the overall look than the regular Hybrid model. This trim level offers five seats for you and your passengers to fit comfortably. Under the hood, you’ll find the engine is a 2-liter inline-four hybrid with a CVT transmission. You get 204 horsepower, with a torque of 247 lb-ft. For the drivetrain, you can enjoy an all-wheel drive with a combined fuel economy of 38 mpg with 35 mpg in the city and 40 mpg on the highway. If you’re looking to tow with the vehicle, this trim level has a towing capacity of 1,000 lbs.
Starting MSRP: $35,195
CR-V Hybrid Sport Touring Trim Level
The Hybrid Sport Touring trim level has nearly all the same features as the 2023 CR-V Hybrid and the CR-V Hybrid Sport Level trim. In this trim level, however, you can enjoy 12-speaker Bose audio, a navigation system, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. You’ll also find 19-inch wheels and tires. These additional entertainment features can add to the enjoyment of your and your passengers’ ride, either through Fairfield, Ohio, or on a road trip.
Starting MSRP: $39,845
2023 Honda Accord Hybrid
The 2023 Honda Accord Hybrid is the perfect car because it’s a four-door, mid-sized sedan. The exterior may feature skinnier headlights, but they are still bright enough to illuminate your path. Overall, the Accord Hybrid may not vary much in terms of look from its previous models, sticking to its simple and clean look. On the exterior, the grille may come across as modest, with little surfacing along the sides. For the taillights, you’ll find the wrap-around rear to the fender. The wheels are about 18 inches, which is about an inch smaller than previous models.
It’s likely the engine will remain a turbocharged 1.5-liter inline-four engine. The car also increases its aerodynamics with a longer hood and lower roofline. Inside the car, you may expect to find a honeycomb pattern on the air vents. Similar to the CR-V, on the dashboard, you’ll find a tablet-style monitor where you can use a navigational system and enjoy Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. Whether you’re a passenger or the driver, you won’t have to worry about space and being uncomfortable in the car because there’s ample head and legroom to sit comfortably for an extended time.
On the seats, you can enjoy some luxury with leather material. To make the car more accommodating for your lifestyle, it has plenty of storage space in the center console and durable all-season weather mats to protect your car from the harsh colder weather conditions of Ohio. Additionally, there’re portable charging ports for your mobile devices, and it has climate control systems to ensure everyone can enjoy the ride comfortably.
Starting MSRP: $28,815
